History of the Belgian Special Air Service

15/03/2026

Our focus will be on the new history book - The (Belgian) 5th SAS in the Second World War. If possible, we would like to see if the book presentation can be held in conjunction with a visit to the Pegasus Museum. The date and place of the presentation are not firm at this time.

The (Belgian) 5th SAS, Belgian Army, was organized, trained, equipped, and tasked by the British in World War Two. The British also trained and organized the French and Dutch SAS units. We are coordinating the presentation on the new history book - The (Belgian) 5th SAS in the Second World War. If possible, we would like to see if the book presentation can be held in conjunction with a visit to the Pegasus Museum, which covers the history of the unit and Belgian Airborne units. The Museum is located at the Citadel, 3290 Diest, Belgium. https://www.pegasus-museum.be/
